Add/Modify/Delete Events On the Calendar

Note that you will need permission to modify our troop calendar. If you think there's a need for you to do so, please contact webmaster@bsatroop365.org

1. How to add events to calendar

a) login to your Google Account

b) go to http://www.bsatroop365.org

c) Click on Calendar on the left bar

d) On the Calendar Page, click on "+ Google Calendar" at the bottom right corner of the Calendar

to bring up the Calendar that you can edit/create/change.

e) Click on any date you want to create and event; this will pop up a little balloon with some info.

You don't need to fill out or pay attention to any info in this pop-up balloon. So, just click on

"Edit event details" here (don't click on "create event") to bring up event details window.

f) Fill out the details for the events. Calendar details here are very standard.

Things you need to pay extra attention are:

* Need a title on top; without the title, it will show up in the calendar as "no title"

* Calendar should be "Troop 365 Calendar" (which should be the default)

* "Add a reminder" as you wish

* No need to add any guests

* Leave "Privacy" as "Default"

Then click on save. That's it

g) You then go out to http://www.bsatroop365.org and go to Calendar to double check that it's there

(you may have to refresh the Calendar page).

2. How to modify an exiting event on calendar:

Do steps a) through d) as in 1) above

e) Click on any event you want to modify; this will pop up a little balloon, then click on

"Edit event details" here to bring up event details window.

Then follow steps f) and g) as in 1) above

3. How to delete an exiting events on calendar:

Do steps a) through d) as in 1) above

e) Click on any event you want to modify; this will pop up a little balloon, then click on "delete"
